Last week, Auf Widersehen Pet star Noel Clarke was announced as
Mickey in the new series, who appears to be a semi-regular. This
week actress Camille Coduri was announced as Jackie, the mother of
Rose Tyler (played by Billie Piper). Camille has announced on her
website http://www.camillecoduri.co.uk that she will appear in 6 of
the 13 episodes.
UKTV Gold + 1 has been a 24 hour a day simulcast of {c{130=UKTV Gold}} (with 1 hour delay) for some time now, so I am combining their listings. They were separate originally due to then-UK Gold + 1 only being on the air part time.
ABC http://www.abc.net.au/tv in Australia will be skipping Frontier In Space and Planet of the Daleks later this month due to contract issues with Daleks at the time the package was ordered. For whatever reason, the issues do not extend to Death to the Daleks and Genesis of the Daleks, which are set to air when ABC reaches the relevant points of the series.
American Who http://www.americanwho.net has a new edition up (see
below). In response to requests, the news section has been
streamlined to get to the interviews faster, with the reasoning that
if you knew of American Who you were probably already reading
Outpost Gallifrey http://www.gallifreyone.com and other Who news
sites. The interview with Lars Pearson in the current installment is
very funny.

The 6th Doctor begins his defense with a tale of his adventures in the future. Rather cheeky, as the implication is that if he is executed he will never be able to do those actions in the future. A spaceliner is in danger, as multiple murderers are on board seemingly oblivious to each other, bringing death and doubt.

Running at about 1 hour, 45 minutes, this version of Planet of the Daleks was prepared in the 1980s to attempt to make a coherent version that did not include the black & white episode. It almost succeeds at the illusion. The 3rd Doctor and a Thal expeditionary force team up to stop the Daleks from learning the secrets of invisibility.

Saturday 7PM + 12:30AM PDT Inferno eps 5,6,+7 of 7
Series 7, Episodes 23 through 25. Doctor: Jon Pertwee. 3 episodes this weekend. In the alternate universe, the Earth's crust has been pierced. Stahlmann's gas has been unleashed. It may not be possible to put the genie back in the bottle. Episode 5 includes a scene where the characters listen to a radio. It's a very good scene - the only scene I remember from the first time I saw the story at a very young age. Scarily, the scene was cut from the original UK showing in 1970 because they figured fans would notice the voice on the radio was Pertwee's. Thank goodness the scene got put in the overseas version and survives to this day.
Thanks for reading. Until next week, take care.
